WHAT I DO

I edit honours, masters and doctoral theses for international and domestic students. I also edit journal articles and other academic papers. I concentrate on improving your English expression and on correcting grammatical errors and errors of punctuation. I specialise in theses and academic papers in all areas of science, engineering, psychology, accounting, health, marketing and business that are written in report style.

I also coach university and senior high school students in the academic skills needed for essay writing and report writing.

WHO I AM

I was a tenured academic for twenty eight years and am experienced with various academic writing styles and the expectations of theses examiners. I have supervised PhD and DCA students in science and in art and have been an examiner of undergraduate and postgraduate theses.

I have been a tutor in the academic skills of essay writing, report writing, reflective writing, referencing, and critical analysis at the University of Wollongong and I have provided workshops in these areas at the Western Sydney University.

I have edited for students enrolled at the University of Canberra, the University of Wollongong, Western Sydney University, the University of Technology Sydney and Monash University.

I operate a small business called Academic Coaching and Editing Services from my home and I have an Australian Business Number (ABN).
